Julia Cook, M.S. is an award-winning children's author, counselor, and parenting expert. Inspiration for her books comes from working with children and carefully listening to counselors, parents, and teachers, in order to stay on top of needs in the classroom, and at home. Cook has the innate ability to enter the worldview of a child through storybooks, giving children both the “what to say” and the “how to say it.”
Ebony Glenn is an Atlanta based illustrator who brings stories to life with whimsical imagery. A passion for the arts, storytelling, and advocating for diverse narratives in children's books, she aims to create illustrations that will foster a love of reading. She also creates joyful and heartwarming crafts to satisfy her endless need to always make new things.
Michele McAvoy is an inspirational speaker & award-winning children’s book author from New Jersey. As a child, she read Judy Blume and drew Garfield comics. For her 10th birthday, she asked for a pink typewriter. Michele always loved the smell of new books. Now all grown-up (and typewriters near obsolete) she loves bringing joy to children through literature.
Johanna Wright is an author and illustrator, passionate about the magic of creative energy and its ability to heal, transform and inspire. She’s authored and illustrated more than ten picture and middle grade books, along with the illustrated guided journal, The Magic of Mindset. Johanna lives and works in Portland, Oregon with her family and two fuzzy cats.

Nationally recognized author, publisher and speaker Maria Dismondy is dedicated to inspiring and empowering children. She has authored nine children’s books and made more than 800 speaking appearances. She lives in southeast Michigan with her husband, Dave, and their three children.
