Maria Dismondy

Facilitator

Nationally recognized author, publisher and speaker Maria Dismondy is dedicated to inspiring and empowering children. She has authored nine children’s books and made more than 800 speaking appearances. She lives in southeast Michigan with her husband, Dave, and their three children.

Lee Wind

Author of Like That Eleanor

Lee Wind writes the books he wishes he had as a young Gay Jewish kid. His research on Eleanor Roosevelt for his nonfiction book No Way, They Were Gay? sparked the inspiration for this story. Lee’s work includes the acclaimed Red and Green and Blue and White, which The New York Times called “beautiful” and received five starred trade reviews.

Dr. Frank Sileo

Frank J. Sileo, PhD, is a licensed psychologist and Founder of The Center for Psychological Enhancement in Ridgewood, NJ. Recognized as one of New Jersey’s top kids’ doctors since 2010, he has authored fifteen award-winning children’s books and a parenting book on raising chronically ill children. His work has been translated into four languages, and he is a sought-after speaker and media expert. A devoted Lucille Ball collector, he also enjoys meatballs and jelly donuts.

Sarah Prager

Sarah Prager is the author of four books on LGBTQ+ history for youth, including Queer, There, and Everywhere and Rainbow Revolutionaries. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, National Geographic, and more. She speaks to audiences of all ages about LGBTQ+ history and her books.
